At Noorify Counselling, I bring to the table a wealth of experience honed over more than a decade of dedicated service in various frontline roles. From my early days supporting Indigenous communities in Aboriginal settings to my recent endeavors in hospitals and not-for-profit organizations, my journey has been defined by an unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and communities.

My practice is anchored in a robust framework that encompasses strengths-based, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and decolonization-focused models. This holistic approach underscores my deep-seated belief in the inherent worth and resilience of every individual, while also recognizing the systemic barriers that impact marginalized communities.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clientele, including immigrant groups, government-sponsored refugees, refugee claimants, and families navigating complex issues of mental health and substance dependence. Guided by a profound sense of empathy and cultural sensitivity, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that fosters healing, growth, and empowerment.

One of my key passions lies in exploring the intricate dynamics of intergenerational trauma within immigrant groups and displaced persons. Through collaborative exploration and dialogue, I endeavor to co-create pathways to healing that honor the lived experiences and cultural heritage of my clients. Together, we embark on a journey of self-discovery and resilience, weaving together threads of strength and resilience to navigate the complexities of past traumas and pave the way for a brighter future.

As a lifelong learner, I am deeply committed to staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic modalities, continually expanding my toolkit to better serve the evolving needs of my clients. With each new encounter, I am reminded of the transformative power of human connection and the boundless potential for growth and healing.

At Noorify Counselling, you are not just a client – you are a valued partner in the journey towards wholeness and well-being. Together, let us embark on a path of exploration, healing, and empowerment, forging a brighter future one step at a time.”
